Fractional CMO for Private Wealth Firms and RIAs

I’m Tracie Jones, founder of Fractional Impact. I serve as a fractional CMO for private wealth firms and registered investment advisers (RIAs). I work directly with firm leaders and advisors on three questions: Which households are we best equipped to serve? Where will our next qualified introduction come from? And what happens after a prospect meets us at a dinner, gets referred by a CPA, or finds us through AI search?

Private Wealth Experience

I bring more than three decades of marketing and business development experience, including senior roles across wealth management, law, and commercial real estate. My wealth-management background includes RIAs, financial advisory practices, and family offices.

I bring that experience to the decisions in front of your leadership team: whom to serve, which relationships to develop, and how to turn marketing activity into a prospect conversation your advisors can follow through on.

What I Lead for Your Firm

I set marketing priorities with you as managing partner, translate those priorities into a working plan for your internal team and outside vendors, and review the prospect pipeline with your advisors. I make the owners, next steps, and reporting clear, so a referral, an event invitation, or a website inquiry does not stop at the handoff.

Referrals

I help you clarify which households your firm serves best and give CPAs, attorneys, and clients the language to recognize a good introduction. I connect that positioning to a clear advisor handoff: who owns the introduction, what the next conversation should cover, and how it is recorded.

Advisor Events

I connect the invitation, the experience, advisor follow-up, and CRM reporting. For a dinner or educational event, I work with your team to record who attended, which advisor follows up, and which follow-ups become qualified conversations. You can see the connection between an event and prospect meetings—not just the attendance count.

Search and AI Visibility

I use my A.I.M. System™—Authority, Intelligence, and Market Presence—to help your firm communicate whom it serves and demonstrate its expertise when prospective clients research advisors. I connect that visibility work to a clear next step for someone ready to speak with your firm.

My A.I.M. System™

I bring these three connected pillars into the plan for your firm. I help you make your expertise clear, your website understandable, and your presence consistent as prospective clients research whom to trust.

Authority

Who You Are

I clarify your expertise, credibility, story, proof, and point of view, so people and platforms can understand what makes your firm a trusted choice.

Intelligence

How AI Reads You

I structure your content, website, and messaging so AI can better understand and categorize your business. I make your ideal client, services, and expertise clear without promising a search ranking or AI recommendation.

Market Presence

Where You Show Up

I connect how you appear across search, social, content, directories, and digital platforms, so your firm shows up consistently with the right message in the places prospective clients research advisors.

When to Bring Me In

Bring me in when your firm has outgrown founder-led marketing, your advisors follow up differently from one another, or your vendors produce reports that do not tell you which efforts led to prospect meetings. I help you establish priorities and connect the people already doing the work before adding more activity.

Questions Before a Discovery Call

How does Tracie work with our managing partner, advisors, and existing marketing team?

I work with you as managing partner to agree on the households you want to serve, the priorities, and the marketing budget. I give your existing team a clear plan and work with advisors on referral and event follow-up. I review the pipeline with you and make responsibilities and next steps explicit. I coordinate materials with your firm’s review process; I do not replace your compliance oversight.

Can Fractional Impact lead the agencies and vendors we already use?

Yes. I can lead your existing agencies, freelancers, website partners, and other marketing vendors. I set briefs and priorities, coordinate the work with your internal team, and review reporting against the questions leadership needs answered. I assess what is working before recommending a change in partners.

How would we measure whether our marketing is producing qualified conversations?

I first agree with you on what counts as a qualified household and record the source of each opportunity in your CRM. I track introductions received, meetings booked, meetings actually held, and new client relationships as separate stages—not interchangeable totals. I review handoffs, follow-up, and movement between stages with advisors, and connect those records to referrals, events, and search inquiries. This gives us a basis for decisions; it is not a promise of a particular number of meetings or clients.

I’m happy to talk through your firm’s priorities, the team you already have, and where qualified introductions are getting lost. We can decide whether fractional CMO leadership is the right next step for your firm.
